Before you rush off and start to build a few Squidoo lens, you may want to create a better look with some of the new templates Squidoo have released. The one thing that is good about Squidoo is that all the pages are pretty much uniform in their appearance, but many people wanted a more MySpace.com ability so they could be more unique. As a result, the Squidoo team came up with a happy medium that will allow lensmasters to use a template for different lens looks.

These templates pretty much work in the same way, and all are added to your Squidoo account when created. In the next few pages, you will see how each one looks and where you can go to select the template. Squidoo has again made them very simple to use with a wizard to help you build the lens after asking a few related questions.

After you have answered the questions, you then have to click magic build
to see how your answers look. Don’t worry too much if it’s not perfect right now, as you will be able to edit anything on the final page at any point. The main thing you have to do is click the link on the right ‘I want it’ then select a URL, in the same way you selected a Squidoo.com/MyURL. The URL is the only thing you are unable to change once you are done.
